Though I have sadly neglected my blog as I have many wonderful but busy things happening which I will soon share and this session has long past, I needed to show this little beauty. What a dream she was to photograph and what a beautiful mother she has who clearly loves and adores her beautiful newborn baby girl.
How I loved meeting this beautiful newborn baby boy. He was calm, sweet and slept so beautifully for me, there was truly hardly a peep. You could also see just how much love his mummy and daddy have for him, they truly and deeply love him.

This little sweetheart just fit into the family like a jigsaw on a puzzle piece. It is truly amazing how the moment a newborn enters the world, it feels like they were always there, always a part of the family.

These two beautiful twins decided to make their grand entrance into this world 5 weeks early. And here, at their due date, I got to spend a very wonderful day with this very perfect pair – a perfect little boy, and a perfect little girl.

There is such beauty in pregnancy. You can see it from that beautiful glow a woman gets, to the sheer joy and happiness she experiences everytime her unborn baby kicks. I am so very privileged to share in all the anticipation these mothers and their families experience as they wait for a new life to come into this world.

What a beautiful way to end 2009 with a session of a sweet little newborn baby girl. But more than this being about my last offical session of the year, this is about a kind and thoughful gift. Dee, who runs a beautiful invitation store called The Right Invite (which, by the way, not only sells papers and other supplies, but also provides a full service creating gorgeous inivitations and other items if need be), contacted me regarding purchasing a collection as a gift. I could not help but think how lovely that was and how lucky Mila’s parents are to have a memory like this of their little girl so tiny, new and perfect.
As a new parent you try so hard to remember all those little details of your new baby, the details that fade so quickly. You stare and wonder in amazement at this new life you created – this perfect little being. I love those details and can’t imagine anything better than having spent this year photographing so many beautiful newborns. And as 2009 draws to a close I thought it be fitting to share a slideshow showing some of these perfect little beings that I have had the privilege of photographing. I can only look forward to an equally wonderful 2010 with many more beautiful newborns to come.
Each and every of the newborns I photograph amaze me. They amaze me because they are precious, new and loved immesurably by their mummies and daddies.
